Start with the company and location
A trading name, legal employer and individual establishment may differ. Check the site address and inspection identifier before treating a result as a match. Multiple locations can have separate records. Verify similar names against the site address before accepting a company match.
OSHA’s establishment-search help describes its name-based search and sorting options. If you already have an inspection number, keep it alongside the company name in your notes so the same case can be checked again.

A proposed penalty is not a payment receipt. An open case does not mean an inspector is still onsite. No search result is not proof that a business has never been inspected: name, location, period and available source coverage can affect what you find.
